CHILDREN’S CHURCH
K–5TH GRADE
Welcome to Children’s Church, where kids are getting connected to Jesus! Here is where children will find engaging worship and interactive Bible studies that are relevant to today’s children and teach them about God’s grace, love, and promises.
It’s our hope that children look forward to coming to church because they don’t want to miss out on the excitement and fun they experience while learning about our loving God!
WEEKLY EVENTS
Sunday School Sunday school begins during the 9:30 a.m. service; children are invited to leave near the middle of the worship service to attend Children’s Church.
September-May When Wednesday Night Refuel is in session, children are invited to join us for dinner from 5:45 to 6:30 p.m. followed by children’s small groups until 7:45 p.m. During the small group time, we spend time in fellowship and play, worshiping God through fun songs, and learning a mid-week lesson about how God wants us to live every day.
June-August A variety of activities are scheduled throughout the summer to help children grow in faith and stay connected with one another!
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
K-5TH GRADE
Each summer, we offer exciting and relevant Vacation Bible Schools for children to help them grow in faith. Kids enjoy hands-on crafts, games, stories, fun songs, and much more!
This year our VBS theme is The Great Jungle Journey, an exciting and educational exploration of basic and practical spiritual concepts found in Genesis and other books of the Bible. With an entertaining and engaging trip into a wild and exotic jungle as a colorful backdrop, children will spend their mornings in a wide variety of fun activities, while learning how concepts from both Old and New Testaments remain as true and practical today as they were in biblical times.

Those willing to serve will need to plan on attending a training event prior to the Vacation Bible School.
JUST FOR PARENTS
Dear Parents,
We are delighted to have your child as part of our children’s ministry! Below are some essential reminders to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone:
We must have a completed information card with a parent's signature on file before your child(ren) can participate in our program. Please return it to the church promptly, as it is legally required for emergency situations.
Our discipline policy involves a warning or choice for inappropriate behavior. If the behavior continues, they will be taken to their parent/guardian if they are here at church. If not they will be removed from the classroom. We will attempt to call you to come and pick them up. If we cannot reach you, they will be separated from the group for the rest of the evening. We prioritize constructive solutions and aim to minimize disruptions to other children.
Our behavior motto is "We obey right away, all the way, and with a happy heart!" (Proverbs 20:11). We seek to instill positive conduct and attitudes in every child.
Children with symptoms like a fever over 99, vomiting, diarrhea in the last 24 hours, skin rashes of unknown origin, persistent coughing associated with cold, bronchitis, etc., runny nose with yellow or green discharge, pink eye, parasites, any form of lice, ringworm, etc. or other contagious conditions can not participate. Prompt parent/guardian pick-up will be required if these symptoms arise during our program.
Kindly ensure your child does not bring toys or electronic devices to church, as they can be a distraction. If a child brings a cell phone or tablet, it will be temporarily taken away if seen during worship or learning activities.
Parents are required to come into the building to sign their children out after ALL activities and meetings. If your child is allowed to walk home alone or with someone else, please indicate this on the information card.
Appropriate behavior is expected during Wednesday Night Refuel. Children acting inappropriately may be asked to eat with an adult.
For any questions or concerns, please contact our Director of Family Ministries at 813-782-5645.
Thank you for entrusting us with the privilege of working with your children. It is our joy to create a positive and enriching experience for them in our children’s ministry!
