STEVE EZRA
Rev. Dr. Steve Ezra (just “Steve” or “Pastor Steve”) was born and raised in North Judson, Indiana. He graduated from Purdue University in 1992 with a B.A. in Social Studies Education, received his Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary in 1996, and his Doctorate of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary in 2012.
He was an adjunct professor of public speaking at Ivy Tech State College in Fort Wayne and served two churches in the North Indiana Conference of the United Methodist Church. In 2003, he moved to Florida to assist with the formation of new churches in the Florida Conference.
Pastor Steve served Heritage UMC in Clearwater for 5 years, Tampa's St. James UMC for 7½ years, and Seminole's Aldersgate UMC for 4 years. Pastor Steve also earned his credentials as a coach in 2005 from CoachNet, specializing in life coaching and Natural Church Development.
He loves to read about theology, leadership, and history, has a passion for all things automotive (especially vintage and classic automobiles), and enjoys spending time with his wonderful family traveling the world, even if it’s just to Disney World.
