On Sunday, July 28th, our chapel rang with the joyful sounds of Christmas during a special evening worship featuring members of our praise band, Salvation’s Rock. A blend of music, scripture, and prayer, the evening was a beautiful reminder of how the ”Light of the World” isn’t confined just to a few precious days in December, but shines throughout the year for all who keep its spirit alive in their hearts. Salvation’s Rock performed a pleasing mix of contemporary Christian melodies along side familiar traditional carols that had the audience joining in from the reverent, “Angels We Have Heard On High” to the energetic, “Go Tell It On The Mountain”. We thank all of the praise band members who went the extra mile to put this event together and bring an enjoyable and uplifting spirit to an otherwise dark and stormy night. We look forward to seeing more special events like these that make our campus light up with prayer, music, fellowship, and presence. Merry Christmas!
