Our Faith Becomes Reality Through the Strength of Your Hearts and Hands

Faith Responders in Action Throughout the State during March 2025
Who are Faith Responders?

The Mission: At Faith Responders, our vision is To empower, equip and engage churches to share the restorative love of God through disaster response and recovery by offering Christ in tangible ways.

Their Approach: We understand that those in an impacted community know what is most needed for their community. So, we let the local congregation and community take the lead by identifying needs and the best way to respond to needs by providing support, resources and guidance.

Their Partnership: We are honored to be a Strategic Mission Partner and Extension Ministry of the Global Methodist Church. We profess the values and beliefs of the Global Methodist Church seeking to make disciples of Jesus Christ who worship passionately, love extravagantly and witness boldly.

Your Response: Thank you for your support!! We always have openings for volunteers to help with administration needs, social media, prayer quilts, phone calls, repairs, rebuilding and training events. Please reach out to us for ongoing and current needs.

Current News: Easter Message

This Easter, we pause to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the ultimate sign of hope, healing, and new life. As Global Methodists, we believe in a faith that witnesses boldly, loves extravagantly and worships passionately by putting others first just as Jesus did. That faith leads us to respond in times of need.

From our Faith Responders family to yours, may you experience the deep joy and peace of the risen Lord this Easter. And may we all continue to be the hands and feet of Christ in a world that needs Him!
Current News: Faith Responders Family,

You’ve shown up in powerful ways and the mission continues. As we move into a new season of impact, we have immediate needs and ways you can stand with us right now:

🌊Urgent Need to Help Flood Victims!

Severe flooding has devastated parts of Kentucky, Tennessee, and Arkansas. Families have been left without homes, power, or basic necessities.

Faith Responders is currently raising funds to support our GMC community in the region, providing critical relief, supplies, and spiritual care but we can't do it without your help.

Please consider giving today to help our neighbors in Christ during this time of great need? 🙏

Breaking News from Executive Director, Laura Lambert

March/April 2025: Update on the rebuilding projects in the Ridge Manor/Dade City/Zephyrhills area.

Last month as you may be aware we hired a Temporary Disaster Construction Coordinator, Gianni Passino. Gianni is from the Ridge Manor area and is familiar with the local businesses as well as the communities in which we are working. He has been a great help and has been able to meet with several families, create a scope of work and has begun to schedule work.

So, we wanted to let congregations know there will be many opportunities coming up in the next few months for local teams to come out to help with a variety of projects like insulation, drywall, flooring, painting and some other things.

Tammy Scott, our Volunteer and Field Coordinator, will be working with Gianni to recruit and schedule volunteers for each work day. Local volunteer workdays will be each Tuesday and Thursday beginning April 22nd until at least the end of May. We are also expecting some traveling mission teams to the area so Gianni and Tammy will be coordinating that schedule as well. We have several projects already identified that we need help with if your church community has members who might be interested in helping out.
