Our Faith Becomes Reality Through the Strength of Your Hearts and Hands

Faith Responders in Action Throughout the State during Spring/Summer 2025
Who are Faith Responders?

The Mission: At Faith Responders, our vision is To empower, equip and engage churches to share the restorative love of God through disaster response and recovery by offering Christ in tangible ways.

Their Approach: We understand that those in an impacted community know what is most needed for their community. So, we let the local congregation and community take the lead by identifying needs and the best way to respond to needs by providing support, resources and guidance.

Their Partnership: We are honored to be a Strategic Mission Partner and Extension Ministry of the Global Methodist Church. We profess the values and beliefs of the Global Methodist Church seeking to make disciples of Jesus Christ who worship passionately, love extravagantly and witness boldly.

Your Response: Thank you for your support!! We always have openings for volunteers to help with administration needs, social media, prayer quilts, phone calls, repairs, rebuilding and training events. Please reach out to us for ongoing and current needs.

Current News: We hope you’re having a safe and meaningful summer so far!

Our teams have been staying busy, productive, and blessed with opportunities to serve. Between days in the field and sharing our mission at Annual Conferences, this season has been rewarding on so many levels.

Hurricane season is here, and we’re preparing for any storms that may threaten our region. At the same time, our hearts and prayers are with communities across the country facing other natural disasters, like those in Kentucky recently struck by devastating tornadoes. We were fortunate to send a team to the area to help with disaster response and will continue to help as needed. We are committed to remaining vigilant and ready to deploy when and where we're needed most.

Current News: South Georgia Annual Conference

We’re also excited to share that Faith Responders will be at the South Georgia Annual Conference at St. Simons Island from July 10th through the 12th. We're excited to connect with partners, supporters, and new friends there. If you’ll be attending, please come see us!

Thank you for your continued prayers, encouragement, and support. Together, we’re making a difference one response, one training, one helping hand at a time.

Blessings,
The Faith Responders Team

May/June 2025: Update on Recent Disaster Responses

As many of you are aware devastating tornadoes ripped through Missouri and Kentucky this week taking the lives of 28 and leaving many without homes. These historic events added to the thousands of survivors recovering from flooding and tornadoes which ravaged the Midsouth region this spring across multiple states. Please be in prayer for the survivors, communities, volunteers and relief workers. May they know that God is present with them and will carry them through the recovery.

Faith Responders is partnering with ACTS (Action Crisis Teams) in Corbin/London, KY to aid in the response with debris cleanup, chainsaw work, tarping and spiritual/emotional care. A base camp will be available for housing and meals. Join Us! Sign up as an individual or team below or by visiting our website. Can't respond in person - please consider making a donation - designate Kentucky or Missouri Tornadoes. Thank you for your prayers, your presence and your gifts!

June Update: We want to highlight the incredible youth group from Killearn who joined us in Dade City and Ridge Manor this past week. These young volunteers spent their time helping restore homes and flexing their “giving back” muscle in meaningful, hands-on ways. We’ve truly had so much fun working with them! We’re so grateful to see the next generation showing up to support our mission.
